I completed the Advanced Certificate in Art & Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. I continued on with the Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art at R.M.I.T. University, finishing in 1996.

During this period I got into photography as a hobby and in 1993 I was a finalist in the Felix.H.Man Photographic Prize & Exhibition. The exhibition was held at the National Gallery of Victoria before touring around the state of Victoria for the next year. I have been lucky with my photography, in 1995 I received a local council Arts Grant. The projects aim was to photograph the intellectually disabled participating in leisure activities. The final photographs won awards and was a main feature of the Hume City Festival.

I have been using a computer for less than two years. When it comes to computers and software I'm basically self taught, learning as I go along. It's amazing how today's great software programs makes it so easy to produce such wonderful art.
